Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She grew on a South London community estate, and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in six episodes Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with the thriller The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was removed from The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe who had played a regular role in the previous two seasons was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the first episode of the season's new episode. She played Tituba in the program Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he played a part with her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was born into a big family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance following this. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major divisions until she finished high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap and pointe, as well as the acrobatics. Ashley won the best soloist award at every major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among a few.
