Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd later went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for her performance during the night. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as her Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
